Got an email from a friend in Queensland this morning containing an ad for a Post Doc in Sydney. Looked up from the PC to the cold windy and grey day outside and thought… hmm, May in Ireland? Or 3 years in Australia?

Yeah, I’ll be applying for that.

(Course, the chance to attend one of the famous Sydney Zombie Run meet-ups didn’t sway me at ALL!)

There are times when I hate my job. And then there are times like today when I get to go sampling on a warm sunny day. I like those days. And as a bonus, today there was a bluebell wood.
